Adult Learn to Ride

Cost
We offer Adult Learn to Ride private classes for $75/hr.   If you are close we sometimes run over as long as there is not a class afterwards, but we do not charge extra.

Equipment
We have an assortment of balance bikes and pedal bike we use to teach the classes.  We do recommend you bring your bicycle if you have one. We also have an assortment of helmets we can use, but we recommend you bring one so we can ensure it fits properly.

Class
We start off with balance bikes and work our way to pedal bikes with handles on the back. If you can master that we then move to your bike to make sure the fit is proper or we use bikes we have in house.  If you do not master it we will remove the pedals on your bike if you have one so you can practice riding it as a balance bike.

Ages
We will teach children from 18-150.  Many adults will get frustrated and this is ok.  Some get it in the hour and some do not. Those that practice what we have done in the class usually get it shortly after.

Day and Time
Since our instructors also work full time we try to schedule classes after 5pm or on the weekends.

Weather
We do not teach classes if it has been raining since the parking lot will be wet.   During the summer it can get hot so we either do classes in the early morning or very late afternoons.  Hydration is key and we recommend you hydrate if during the summer months. We do not teach many classes during the winter unless we have some weather over 60 degrees.
