Help set up the registration/check-in area on the morning of the ride. Must arrive 90 minutes prior to registration start. Set up tents, tables, signs, PA system, generator, extension cords, inflatable, and trash containers. Perfect pre-ride volunteer activity if you intend to ride!

Work registration, and then at the end, stick around to clean everything up, checking the paperwork, accounting for cash/checks/credit card transactions, and making sure paperwork and receipts are well organized prior to handing them back.

Handle day-of-ride registrations and new member sign-ups. Requires someone with attention to detail and comfort handling money and credit card transactions. This is a great opportunity if you want to volunteer and ride, too.

Check-in pre-registered event participants and distribute pre-ordered t-shirts before the ride. This is a good opportunity if you want to ride, too!

This volunteer will help to make sure that our t-shirt delivery is organized well. Will look through t-shirts the night before to make sure that we have all the shirts and sizes ordered. Then will work with check-in volunteers to make sure that all pre-ordered shirts are given to those checking in. Will label t-shirts not picked up so club can follow through on deliveries, as possible.

Need four people to manage four SAG/Rest Stops. These Level II volunteers with trucks (or SUVs, mini-vans, etc.) will be responsible for the following: (1) truck run to storage shed to meet SAG Captain to pick up SAG equipment (tables, ice chests, etc.), (2) purchase a few additional supplies for your SAG, if needed (all expenditures reimbursed), (3) man the rest stop providing Gatorade, water, snacks, and good cheer, and (4) clean up and return SAG equipment to storage shed post-ride. Assistance will be provided by SAG Captain.

Volunteers needed to man four different rest stops, providing Gatorade, water, snacks, and good cheer! Assist the volunteer with a truck (your SAG Host) to set up and break down the SAG stop, Level II credit awarded.

This person will manage all the SAG - rest stop workers, helping with volunteer communication, shopping, prep/set-up, and storage runs. Level III credit awarded.

These Level II volunteers help provide SAG support and transportation to stranded cyclists along the route. A truck, SUV, or bike rack is required, and a small cooler with ice would be handy. Cell phone with additional charging capacity also needed. Support materials, including bottled water provided at start of event. Standard mileage reimbursement available.

This volunteer will hang back with the last few riders on the 25-mile route, assisting as needed giving them the opportunity to have an experienced rider alongside.
This is a great opportunity if you want to volunteer and ride, too.

Volunteers needed to take photos along the route and at SAG stops, then post the photos on the MHBC website. Level II credit provided.

Host post ride party. Set up buffet tables, assist with food service (may need to scoop ice cream), keep coolers stocked with drinks, and keep tables clean. Work with other volunteers in 2-hour time slots.

Help wipe tables, pick up trash, load the gear back into trucks and trailers to return to shed. Work with ride coordinator and other volunteers until everything has been taken care of. Personal truck helpful but not required.

Decorate all the tables with red, white, and blue!

Direct incoming ride participant traffic to designated parking areas. Perfect pre-ride volunteer activity if you intend to ride!
