I have been contacted by a couple who live in Burlington, WA who are planning on riding from Memphis to New Orleans on the Mississippi River Trail. If interested in joining them, here is their ad that they have put on the Adventure Cycling website:
Memphis to New Orleans We will be leaving West Memphis in mid April for about three weeks along the Mississippi River to New Orleans. Forty to sixty miles per day self contained. We will use cafes for meals, stay nights in schools, motels, etc., but carry tents and all sleeping gear. The trip will include time to absorb the atmosphere of Memlphis and New Orleans, and Kayaking in the Atchafalaya basin of Louisiana.
